Mission 1. Effective commercialization of product and process ideas, including patent protection of intellectual property, product engineering, design for manufacturability, and developing marketing channels or partners. 2. Creating low risk partnerships with inventors and intellectual property owners which benefit all parties, using integrity, technical and marketing knowledge, and decades of trusted contacts to facilitate success. 4. To leverage our combined resources in engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and management, domestic and international, to optimize product commercialization for our customers. 5. Above all, we will only and always act with integrity and fairness, consistent with our fundamental philosophy, and important to our ongoing relationships. Background Tautex was founded in January 2008, the result of combining the engineering, scientific, and management experience of three individuals whose long industry and academic experience prepared them with extensive connections throughout industry and the worlds of engineering, manufacturing, and finance. The name is inspired by one spelling of the ancient Egyptian god of wisdom and learning, Taut, (aka Thot). The name also includes references to our multiple technologies (tex), the experienced experts we apply (ex) and the tightness of the development process we use (taut). The Greek letter tau is used both in the name spelling itself and as a part of the modified hieroglyph for Taut. The principals are: Robert Ahmann President Jim Starr Vice President, Engineering
